Update on current initiatives

Background

Congresbury Youth Partnership which is a registered charity (1096207) was set up in February 2002 and our objectives are:

• Providing activities for young people predominantly in the age range 8 - 14 in the village of Congresbury.

• Promoting and developing teenage and adult volunteering and young people's involvement in the community.

What we do

• Line Manage the part time Community Youth worker employed by Parish Council.
• Activities:
  • Cybercafé facility during school terms, 3 sessions per week
  • Saturday morning club during term time
  • Provide activities for young people during school holidays including a summer playscheme
  • Encourage the development of teenagers through volunteering and employment
  • Promote and develop adult volunteering.
