What does the youth club do?

Provides educational and recreational opportunities for young people in school years 7 and above  (11+).

Benefits to young people

Fun, friends, increased self confidence and awareness.  Access to opportunities and information through N-Somerset Youth and Community Service.

Dates and times and cost of attending

Contact North Somerset Youth Services for up to date session times.

Includes NO WORRIES service.

Occasional special sessions at other times, including sport competitions, art and drama, mechanics, cooking, day trips, residential opportunities, and attendance at District youth events

What help is required from volunteers?

Volunteers to:

• assist at sessions, help in the coffee bar,

• to accompany trips,

• to sit on management committee, help maintain our building, keep our financial records etc.

No special skills, but free training in basic youth work is available if wanted.

Police checks are carried out  on all adults in line with requirements of the Children’s Act.
